If you tried to find a common denominator between all of the baseball teams still playing, on the surface it would be money.
The four teams remaining (Yankees, Angels, Dodgers, Phillies) all have payrolls of more than $100 million.
They are all also among the top 10 highest salaried ballclubs.
What are the odds?
And that's my point.
For the Toronto Blue Jays to win more baseball games, to make the playoffs, and to win a World Series, it all comes back to straight cash.
Right now it's all just jibber jabber.
The Jays can hire/fire/promote/demote/haze/praise/let talk/let walk/do a little dance/make a little love/and get down tonight.
And it doesn't matter until they say how they're going to make the trains run on time.
And everybody knows it.
So we plumb the depths of long-winded explanations on what...
The Solution to the Toronto Blue Jays Problems, It’s Simple, They Need New Ownership
- By Chase Ruttig

Well it has been another ho hum season for Canada's team the Toronto Blue Jays, this marks the 15th straight year the Blue Jays have missed the playoffs.
The last time they made the postseason was 1993, when yours truly was sitting in diapers and sucking his thumb.
The Blue Jays have had good players come through the franchise in this time and have had some solid ballclubs in that time, but they have just not been able to get over the hump and make that step into October baseball.
There are a laundry list of problems in Toronto, but there seems to be one solution that will solvee the majority of them.
Rogers Communications needs to sell the team.
The Rogers ownership era has been disappointing to say the least and has been...

Are Jays fans about to see history repeat itself?
Leading baseball scientists (like myself, having a self-appointed PHD in Tobacco Chewing Physics), say meh.
With all the hubbub of the Jays, you know, not making the playoffs, everyone has zeroed in on their new choice for General Manager: Alex Anthopolous.
Did I spell that right?
No matter, I'll get on with the whole trying to make a point thing; by drawing some handy parrallels!
J.P.
Ricciardi became GM after leaving a Moneyball team and mentor (Billy Beane).
Alex Anthopolous became GM, getting the job from his former mentor and so-called Moneyball practicioner (Ricciardi).
Ricciardi became GM at the tender (for an older man's job) age of 41.
Anthopolous became GM at the tender age of 33.
Ricciardi joined the team and immediately thumbed his nose at an albatross of a contract (Carlos Delgado).
Anthopolous became...

In my younger and more vulnerable years, my father gave me some advice I've been turning over in my mind ever since. "Whenever you feel like criticizing someone," he told me, "just remember that you once ate some gum off the floor of the car." Hello. My name is Geoff Zochodne and I'm a guy who writes about stuff that you like to read. I enjoy sports and I always root, root, root, for the home team. Well, as long as the team is the Miami Dolphins, Toronto Blue Jays, and Toronto Raptors. Everything else is unroot, root, rootable. For Fanhuddle I'll be writing Toronto Blue Jays-flavoured articles. It's going to be fun (for you, personally, a piece of me dies everytime I type the words "mediocre" and "Jays" in the same article). I have a habit of making light...

Well I am one of the lucky writers for this great new site Fan Huddle, which is giving talented unkown writers, like myself the chance to get their work showcased on a professional website and pay them for it. Well for my first article I thought I would introduce myself. I am the NBA’s Atlantic Division and Toronto Blue Jays columnist here on Fan Huddle. I am 16 years old and live in Yorkton Saskatchewan, Canada. Which is a small town of 16, 000 and doesn’t really have much for entertainment. I am a Grade 11 student at the Yorkton Regional High School and play Varsity Football and Basketball I believe in reporting without a bias, but also believe that every piece of literature has some bias in it Here are some of my favorite sports...
MLB Playoff Preview
- By Geoff Zochodne

Well after last night's classic one game playoff between the Twins and Tigers, the MLB Playoffs are officially underway. Which means two things, one baseball is back in the forefront and we have an exciting month of baseball, and second that Toronto is once again watching the excitement, thus making my life as a writer even more difficult than necessary. Well I have a solution to stop that, I will still write about the Jays and there is still a lot to be written about, but I will be covering the MLB playoffs daily(whenever I can believe me I am incredibly lazy, I make ESPN's Bill Simmons look like a workhorse). Well there is your short intro now here are the picks. Call up your bookie and make some easy dough. Minnesota Twins vs. New...
