MLB Power Rankings – Spring Training Edition

Spring Training games are underway which means that it is time for the first edition of the 2010 MLB Power Rankings.
Here’s the first list of the year:
The Elite
1.
New York Yankees – Fresh off of a World Series victory of the Phillies allows the Yankees to have the slight edge over the Phils.
They pulled off a great deal to bring in Javier Vazquez and still have almost all of the main pieces of their glorious 2009 season.
2.
Philadelphia Phillies – The Phillies are attempting to go to their third consecutive World Series, after defeating the Rays in 2008 and losing to the Yankees in 2009.
Expect big things from Roy Halladay, the biggest off-season acquisition in baseball.
