That would be great. I have been saying this since mid-season. This is and has been my wish list. However, Earl Thomas is not a bad pick. Myron Rolle is not a bad pick. Eric Berry is just to talked about and it's just not realistic to hope for. The Steelers have always been lucky in the draft. Mendenhall, Wallace etc. It's going to be exciting. I do agree with your pick.

If every other QB in the league hadn't also been a no-show, it might be a bigger deal. But everyone agrees that the Pro Bowl is a joke. Just no reason to attend. When David Garrard is a Pro Bowler, that pretty much settles the question of whether or not the game matters.

Since the early 70"s many teams including our Steelers have made a mistake and have fallen into a bad spot. Not only in Carter but others. Defensive Corners and safeties are lacking in height. Carter I just want to tell you this. I live in Michigan, I came from WI. As a youth I use to joke around and tell everyone that Franco Harris was in my relation, seeing we had the same last name.Your to short to be playing the corners or safety. While I don't follow the Lions, I am starting to know how a Lions fan feels. Pro football teams need to fine the 6-1 to 6-2 or 3 guys in height to go against the height of the taller receivers. Carter I know you must have to wash your hair after every match up from getting your head on arm pits. Its that bad. Carter you may be good, but pro football is generating a new height on the passing game that needs coverage to have taller people to cover. I see it every week in the NFL. Why are we missing the boat in this.Look back when this all started, maybe around when Randy Moss came to the Vikings. Who knows, but I can flat out watch game films of every NFL team and know the winners have taller coverage against the pass. If I am wrong tell me where. And also, who took the word DESIRE out of our Pittsburgh dictionary. Ben you may be doing good, but you can't walk up to the line four times in one game and hold your hands in the air to change the play. Everytime you do this you end up handing off to our running back to go between the right guard and tackle. Why don't we just tell them and save the arm raising. On Thursday against the Packers, while we almost lost it on foolish moves, we did do one thing that we have not been doing. Move the ball around, get more people involved in the offense. We need to continue this and then maybe the word DESIRE will come back into the Pittsburgh dictionary. This goes for the Defense also!!Give me 11 people with desire on he field and they will run you right in the ground. Its time to take your Superbowl rings off boys, That was last year.Ben is this what your doing when you hold both arms up on a offensive play? Showing your rings?/ I noticed in the Packer game the arms stayed down. In closing while I use to live in WI and was still a Steeler fan, we always found out that a coach from the Packers or Vikings never made it anywhere else. As with any Viking coach call it the Fran Tarkenton problem. Some coaches get a great team given to them and before we know it the once great team gets torn apart just as the teams you ws around before. Great coaches don't leave, hopefully one will come back. Clayton Harris
