Incidently, Heilman and Schoenweiss were teammates on the New York Mets. Doug Davis was offered a contract but declined to test out the Free Agent market but there is reason to believe that he will end up re-signing with Arizona. Daniel Cabrera has become a Free Agent because of being taken off the 40 man roster but can possibly return if no other talks occur this...

  • March 4th, 2010

The Los Angeles Dodgers are getting ready to start their NLCS against the Philadelphia Phillies tomorrow evening and there is much anticipation of a possible Freeway Series against the Anaheim Angels, even though the Phillies and the Yankees would prefer a NJ Turnpike series. Clayton Kershaw will oppose Cole Hamels of the Phillies tomorrow at Dodger Stadium.  Kershaw proved himself to manager Joe Torre during the clincher against the Colorado Rockies.  The main reason why Kershaw has been given these chances is the concussion and neck issues that Hiroki Kuroda has been suffering from since mid August. Meanwhile in Denver, GM Dan O'Dowd and manager Jim Tracy are looking for contracts for the 2010 season.  Clint Hurdle was fired in late May and Tracy did an amazing job of leading the Rockies...
