Carolina Panthers Best 2010 Free Ageny Move

The Carolina Panthers have made their best free agent move yet and it will probably be the last good move before the NFL Draft in April.
The Carolina Panthers have re-signed Tyler Brayton.
It is disappointing when you see your team do nothing but signing special teams players, so when they sign someone else it is a relief.
Tyler Brayton was an unrestricted free agent and most were unsure he would return to Carolina.
The main reason was that he was over 30 which has become a sort of taboo when it comes to the Panthers.
Brayton had visited with the Seattle Seahawks, but he had expressed his desire earlier in the year that he wished to return to the Panthers.
Today, his wish was granted as he signed for an undisclosed...
Should the Bengals Look At USC Product Taylor Mays With the Number Their First Round Pick of the 2010 NFL Draft?

When you look at the latest Mock Drafts they have interesting choices for the Cincinnati Bengals with their number one pick in the NFL Draft.
They have the Cincy picking USC Safety Taylor Mays with their first round selection.
After having so many issues with the offensive passing game this past season and so many talented receivers out there in the draft should the Bengals make this selection?
I think that if the Bengals think they can get a very solid receiver like Mardy Gilyard in the second round of the draft then this would be a terrific move for Cincinnati.
Taylor Mays was a very solid leader and play maker for the Trojans for as long as he has started in Southern California.
In his career at USC Mays recorded a total of...
Why Emmitt Smith is the Greatest Running Back of All-Time
- By Jason Henry

Former Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith was elected to the hallowed halls of Canton this past weekend as the newest member of the National Football League Hall of Fame.
Smith finished his career with 18,355 yards rushing and a total of 164 touchdowns.
He broke Walter Peyton’s all-time rushing record a few years ago while still a member of the Cowboys against the Seattle Seahawks.
Emmitt now joins his former Cowboys brethren Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin in Canton where they rightfully belong.
But while Smith was a no-brainer to make the hall, many still do not consider him to be the greatest back of all time.
Names like Walter Peyton, Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, and even Gayle Sayers still trump that of Smith because of their style and mediocre teams they...

The Carolina Panthers are hitting their stride.
They have won 4 of their last 6 games including victories over the Arizona Cardinals and division rival Atlanta Falcons.
Unfortunately, a higher power dislikes the Panthers and has made its presence known.
The Panthers lost linebacker Thomas Davis for the season two games ago.
He was having a Pro Bowl season and clearly was the MVP of the first half of the season.
Another Pro Bowl caliber player for the Panthers is now lost for the season.
Pro Bowl offensive tackle Jordan Gross was injured in yesterday’s win against the Falcons when a Falcon player rolled onto his leg and broke his ankle.
The surgery was successful, but he will be placed on the injured reserve.
All is not lost, but this sure...
Should the Bengals Draft Cincinnati Product Mardy Gilyard?

The Bengals have always had some solid receiving core when TJ Houshmandzadeh was paired with Chad “Johnson” Ochocinco and was considered one of the best receiver duo’s in the NFL.
Although when TJ left to Seattle this past season the Bengals have not had that dominance they once had.
Looking at the receivers on paper prior to this season I thought they had a great chance of being a phenomenal group, but with Coles not producing and the loss of Chris Henry it didn’t work out like they’d hoped.
Before Chris Henry passed I was still thinking the Bengals needed a solid receiver either out of free agency or in the draft.
The only thing about the draft is you have to simulate whether or not they can translate their skills into the...
