Indeed, he had a remarkable season. He was a blast to watch, even when everything else was going wrong for the Royals.

Greinke is amazing and even with the lack of run support by his team he still can keep things scoreless. This is a great comeback for Greinke and with his ERA below 1 in his winning streak at the beginning of the season was very spectacular. He deserves to be Cy Young Winner and he baffles most hitters while I felt that he could be earning a lot more wins if it wasn't for the lack of runs. Still Greinke has pulled in off and is now in my head one of the top 5 pitchers around the league since I followed baseball.

It'd be nice to see his offensive numbers jump in Chicago. Since it sounds like he'll be playing third base--his natural position--he should be a little more relaxed at the plate.

He has pretty good numbers at the Cell so it wouldn't surprise me to see his offensive stats jump. I'll miss him as he was easy to cheer for.

I'm with you on putting Gordon at first and Teahen at third, but we don't want this too look too much like the deadball era. Yeah, I'm just messing with you. Thanks for the comment.

Mr. Warren,

I don't see a problem with the triples. Let's have some more doubles and some stolen bases, too. Put Gordon at first, Teahen at third, Butler at DH and watch the good times roll.

We hit lots of triples because we can't hit it over the fence. Plain and simple.
