Digesting the Dilemma In Denver
- By Dynamicdave
- March 3rd, 2010
So after much reading over the past week in regards to the combine and players contract negotiations, it appears that I can finally write about various Broncos subjects without looking completely like the horses behind.
There is nothing worse, in my opinion then listing a bunch of ideas, pure speculative choices and basically just guessing and wasting ink from the mighty pen in regards to “who the coach will keep, won’t keep, who he will look at in the draft.
Now, if it were Mike Shanahan at the helm still, I might attempt it.
We all had seen Mike draft and build over the years, so it became a bit easier to guess his next move.
Not so with Josh McDaniels.
No, Josh in his...
Not An Easy Life

So it may appear at 1st glance, life is not a constant love affair of joy and total fulfillment. No, unfortunately, in order to gain these pleasures in life, you must strive to have a goal and then work diligently to obtain it. This will happen to a handful of people out of approximately every 20. Is it preordained by the cosmos or is it just a matter of blind luck? Is it handed down to you by a wealthy family or is it earned by a solid upbringing and simply a matter of making the correct life choices, regardless of the bad influences around you? In truth, it's a matter of all of the above, with perhaps the exception of "being born into a wealthy family." To give you an example of what I'm trying to get across, I...
Broncos Bits and Pieces

So it seems a lot of rumors, as usual, are floating around the press.
How many of those rumors do you put credibility to? I don't know about you but I've often said and still stand by it, the saying, "Believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear and remember that 3 billion Chinese can't all be Wong."
Case in point; it seems that the rumors spread that the Denver Broncos are being considered as to being put on the auction block.
Yes, someone spread the sickly rumor of the Broncos to being sold.
1st off, there is a little matter of a stadium that was built in order to guarantee that our Broncos remain in Denver.
But just reading the story in itself is enough to make me laugh.
There...
Broncos/Chiefs Matchup: The Final Game?
- By Dynamicdave
- February 20th, 2010
And so it comes to this, the 16th game of the season and possibly, the last one for the gun shy Denver Broncos. What a ride it's been. I remember saying that at the beginning of the season, before a down was played, that regardless as to how the Broncos do, I will always look back at the season and say "What a ride it's been." So it comes to this final game, pitting the Denver Broncos (8-7) against our divisional nemesis, the Kansas City Chiefs (3-14), at Invesco Field, in Mile High. Did I mention that these are exactly the kind of games that worry me? That these are the types of games that Denver "should" win, but many times, simply look too far ahead and miss the target? Denver needs to win this game. No...

Tough Times in San Diego So, things are not all nice and cozy in the Chargers world. According to reports, "Chargers outside linebacker Shawne Merriman wasn't pleased to read a comment from general manager A.J. Smith that the team's play at times this year has been "soft and bewildered." If you recall, the Chargers lost to Pittsburgh, 38-28 after falling behind 28-0. Pittsburgh racked up 497 total yards on offense. On Wednesday, Smith was quoted in The San Diego Union-Tribune as saying, "Everything is wrong with it right now. I'm not the least bit happy in a lot of areas. I've seen us be tough and physical to soft and bewildered." "I don't know too much of that. That's an opinion of a person, and it's not needed," Merriman said. "We know that we have...
Denver -vs- Dallas Matchup

I know the picture of the 1977 Denver Broncos might throw you off, but whenever Denver plays Dallas, it brings back memories of The 1977 Denver team. The Orange Crush. Ironically, Sundays game will be "Orange Sunday" at Invesco. Coincidence? I think not. Even the Broncos remember the loss and the deep rooted dislike for the Dallas Cowboys. I expect things to go differently this Sunday then the 77' year we played them. Actually we played them in regular season and beat them. We'll beat them again. Here's why: 1st we'll start with the quarterbacks. Kyle Orton -vs- Tony Romo Kyle is a game manager of the football. He has no interceptions at this point. He doesn't make many mistakes. While he doesn't make the big downfield plays, the gamebreakers, it's not needed in Denvers offensive scheme....
