- By Vincent Kuo
- March 14th, 2010
The Dallas Mavericks had the most lopsided victory in franchise history when they beat the New York Knicks by 50 points in the teams' last meeting nearly two months ago.
This time, it was the Knicks' turn for a rout.
Bill Walker scored a career-high 23 points, Wilson Chandler added 22 and New York snapped the Mavericks' 13-game winning streak with a 128-94 victory on Saturday night.
"Revenge is sweet sometimes.
That's a really good team over there but we caught them at the right time.
They were ripe for the picking," said New York reserve Al Harrington, who had 20 points.
"When you're rolling along and the Knicks are coming in, you figure you can score 150 points on 'em in your sleep.
But that Knick team didn't show...

- March 13th, 2010
The Dallas Mavericks will welcome the New York Knicks to American Airlines Center on Saturday.Things are certainly going right for Dallas (45-21), which overcame a poor shooting night from star Dirk Nowitzki to rally for a 96-87 win over league-worst New Jersey on Wednesday.
Undefeated since losing 99-86 at Oklahoma City in their first game after the All-Star break, the Mavericks matched Cleveland's 13-game run for the longest of the season.
Dallas is four wins shy of equaling the franchise record set in 2006-07.
Dallas will move closer to that mark if it posts a ninth consecutive victory over New York (22-43).
The Mavericks recorded the most lopsided win in club history by routing New York 128-78 at Madison Square Garden on Jan.

Jason Kidd, Caron Butler, rookie Roddy Beaubois and Shawn Marion picked up the slack.
Kidd had 20 points and nine assists, hitting 5 of 8 from 3-point range, and the Mavericks recovered from a lethargic start to match the NBA's longest winning streak this season with their 13th straight victory, 96-87 over the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday night.
Nowitzki, who's had 16 games this season with 30 or more points and two with 40-plus, went 3 for 16 from the field and finished with 12 points.

- March 11th, 2010
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 108-107 on Tuesday to continue their dominance over the Bucks at home. Dirk Nowitzki scored 28 points and Jason Terry added 21 points for the Mavs. Carlos Delfino missed a running 10-footer in the lane at the buzzer that would have own the game for Milwaukee. Winning games by a wide margin has been more of an exception for the Mavericks. Dallas improved to 13-4 in games decided by five points or less, including a Nowitzki shot at the buzzer that gave the Mavericks an overtime victory earlier this season over the Bucks. The Mavericks tied an NBA record with their 10th consecutive victory in a one-point game since January 2007. The St. Louis Hawks also won 10 straight one-point games from 1959-1960. Bogut hit...
Will Lebron James Sign With the Mavs in 2010?
- By Vincent Kuo
- March 11th, 2010
According to sports writers, the 4 biggest possibilities for Lebron James in the summer of 2010 is the New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat. Lebron has made it clear that he cares about winning a championship. So that means you can scratch the Nets and the Knicks off the list. The Dallas Mavericks could be a good destination for a couple of reasons. The Salary Cap would work since the Mavs can do a sign-and-trade for Erick Dampier since he has a big $16.4 million contract. But, the team can save that money because they can simply waive him after the trade. Also, the Mavs have a good supporting cast. Everyone wants to play with Jason Kidd and his recruiting abilities are one of the...
